• NHQ welcomes Danish viola player, David Bogorad, as the new member of the quartet, replacing Angela Giannaki. The members of the quartet would like to thank Angela for her valuable contribution, and also wish David a creative and exciting collaboration.

• First-time publications of all String Quartets and the Sextet of Mikis Theodorakis have been released by the German publisher Schott, edited by the members of the New Hellenic Quartet. The NHQ has premiered the Quartets in the Athens Megaron Concert Hall on April 15, 2005 and has also recorded three CDs released by Legend Classics with the complete chamber music works by Mikis Theodorakis.

• The new CD recording of the New Hellenic Quartet playing the String Quartets of Filippos Tsalahouris was released in January 2010. The CD includes Quartets No. 2, 3 (El Greco) and 4, as well as the "Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross".

• The New Hellenic Quartet in collaboration with the University of Macedonia publishes, for the first time ever, the - historically significant - String Quartet of the Cretan composer Aristides Antonakakis (1900-1938). The publication, which is accompanied by a CD recording of the music performed by the NHQ, will be offered free-of-charge to performers, students and researchers.
